11 am Judy Leamy will present "The History of Garden Pots from Ancient Civilization to the Present Day"
Judy Leamy is a long-time gardener, having started as a child in the UK, under the guidance of her parents and grandparents. Her favorite garden style is the Cottage Garden, but she appreciates all types, from the rambling, unkempt to the meticulously manicured. When she is not gardening, she is travelling or singing in choirs in Boston and beyond.
12 pm Bring your own lunch and beverage, conversation, show and tell
1 pm - Paula Bozoian will present “What Makes It a Rock Garden?” This is a hands-on opportunity for both novice and experienced rock gardeners to share what makes their gardens rock (or rocky)
Paula grew up in a household dominated by African violets and other gesneriads. And, perhaps as a result, as an adult, she was drawn towards outdoor gardening and perennials.
